Troop 1001 Nokomis, FL

What a great way to end our 2018 charter season – with a high energy, kick butt in every excursion, sailing machine, teamwork driven, respectful fun Florida Troop 1001!!  This troop is used to working together on high adventure excursions because their troop leaders take them to where the action is….snow skiing and snowboarding at the Catalooche Resort, 5 day rafting trip down the Arkansas River, mountain biked down Peaks Pike in CO, wildwater rafting and ziplining on the Chatuge River in NC, and 50 mile hikes in Springer Mt., Appalachian Trail Fontana Dam and Turner Gap, Blood Mt., and kayaking down the Natahala River and many other adventurous excursions.  So being used to taking advantage of the adventure in front of them, when they went on an island hike and snorkel they would be off 2 to 3 hours.  They would enjoy it together and not leave anything unexplored.  It was a joy to watch!  Thank you to each Scout and Leader for your kindness, courtesy, respect for the ship, us and each other, and great attitude!  We can only hope that you will come back soon ~
