Gage had found a Queen Conch so this morning Captain Thomas showed the crew how to clean it.  Then everyone got a taste of fresh raw conch meat…..

Then this fine oiled machine got Ciganka under full sail again.  They are getting so good at this!  Wish we had them for one more week ~

There was the Abaco Sailing Race going on which featured the “Abaco Rage” which is a traditional Bahamian sailing boat.  In years past, this is what the Bahamians used to get around all the time from island to island and to go fishing and conching.  Now everyone uses outboard motors.  But we got to witness up close this traditional boat racing.

Off to Hope Town to climb the lighthouse and explore this quaint settlement.
