Troop 58 “Rain Makers” – Cooperstown, PA
Troop 58 showed up with a crew of 32 Scouts and Leaders that made up a 2 boat trip with Ciganka and Shearwater. This was a troop we had 4 years ago and learned about their “earned” nickname “Rain Makers” because no matter where they go on any excursion or adventure it is sure to rain. This held true 4 years ago and once again held true this past week! And it started out with a BANG this time. As they got on board and were leaving Marsh Harbour they got hit with a downpour of a squall blowing 50 knots! They had rain every day until the last day. But this did not stop them one bit from having incredible sails, amazing snorkels, fun beach time, island exploring, and just a fantastic time. It was a real pleasure having this Crew on board and can only hope we will enjoy some rain together again on Ciganka in the Bahamas!! (I, Linda, apologies that I do not have more pictures to post of their trip but I at a family funeral in Ohio for the first 4 days.)
