Venturing Crew 1853 – Alexandria, VA
Only half way through the week of their high adventure sailing, snorkeling, beaching, exploring, eating, playing music, and laughing a lot on Ciganka! This is an easy going fun co-ed crew that are best of friends and a real pleasure to have on board!

They found 2 queen conch so far which that Captain showed them how to clean it, then they all tasted is fresh and raw, and we will continue to look for more throughout the week.
They spent 3 hours enjoying the drift dive and blue holes at Iron Cay!! On the Sandy Cay reef they saw 15 eight foot eagle rays swimming together and then breaking off and circling around them. To see that many swimming together is a rarity. So thrilled for them. And most people got to see the 8 ft. nurse shark taking a snooze under a coral ledge, along with such a a variety of reef fish and well developed corals.

They got to explore Tilloo Cay and had a blast at Pelican Cay!

The crew is coming together nicely with 2 sails under our belt. We are hoping for more wind tomorrow as we sail our way to Guana Cay.
