The last full day of our spectacular week together on Ciganka in the Bahamas! Cranked it out to the very end. We sailed full sail through the Marsh Harbour anchorage tacking between the boats at anchor with the winds blowing about 18 knots right to anchor without our engine! This crew is amazing!!

The winds were brisk and this crew was up for the task of sailing with all 4 sails up as we tacked our way to Hope Town. We were heeled over nicely and everyone enjoyed the ride. The afternoon was exploring Hope Town settlement and climbing the lighthouse. Then back to the boat after dinner

We had a great sailing lesson yesterday, drift dive snorkel at Iron Cay where we found Queen conch, and a beach run at Tilloo Cay to complete our day. Today after a pancake and sausage breakfast we snorkeled the incredible Sandy Cay reef. We saw it all….eagle rays, turtles, sharks, sting rays and all the reef

They are here!! Troop 14 from Vancouver, WA arrived on time after a long and interesting flight. After lunch and orientation they got their first snorkel in on Mermaid Reef, then a hot delicious dinner of roast beef, gravy, roasted vegetables, and chocolate cake. Now it is time for sleep….finally…..they are tired. Sweet Dreams ~

So much to do….great sailing, amazing snorkeling, getting lobsters, getting conch, finding sea glass, beaching, eating delicious food, learning knots, learning how to run a 78 ft. sailing ship, seeing falling stars at night….. oh and laughing a lot!!
